Prototypes

PROTOTYPE 1: Thigh gear that consists of a knife. This will allow the good halfbie to easily take out the knife while running or doing any other activity to attack zombies and defend humans. I used crepe paper for the section where the knife goes in and for the part that goes onto the thigh, it is made out of brown manila card paper. Used tape to secure thigh gear together. Made the knife out of cardboard.

PROTOTYPE 2: Arm gear consisting of an arrow. This gear allows the good halfbie to shoot out the arrow to whatever direction from any distance. I used crepe paper for the part where the arrow goes in. The material that goes around your arm is brown manila card paper. Used tape to secure arm gear together.

PROTOTYPE 3: Arm gear with arrow. Used a cloth to create the pocket where the arrow stays in and the material of the part that goes around the arm is made out of yellow textured manila paper card. I used tape to secure the arm gear together. Arrow is made out of cardboard.

Exercise 3 and 4: Prototypes, Finishing and Reflection

 Prototype 1 Sketches:  Prototype 1:  Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdL5JPcte6Q Explanation: Prototype 1  Square shaped breakfast set design 2 spider webs on the top and on the opening area a design of a spider Experimented with colour (red and black) Used cardboard to create prototype Ingredients list  Normal opening box  Cardboard egg and cardboard onigiri Reflection Prototype 1 = Ingredients list was too simple, didn't consist of in depth ingredients each food contains so will have to place a more detailed ingredient list. The way to open the box was not entirely convenient as you would need a bit of time to open it up completely, will find another solution to make it even easier, such as a slide in and out concept.
